Last Free Sprinkler Timer Workshop on June 23
Learn how to change your timer for Assigned-Day watering
(RENO, Nev.) – Just in time for the official start of summer, Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is having their last sprinkler timer workshop on Wednesday, June 23 at 5:30 p.m. The hour long workshop is free and taught by TMWA Conservation experts. Participants will leave the workshop with a better understanding of how to adjust their sprinkler timers for the new Assigned-Day watering program in order to maintain a beautiful, yet water efficient yard.
TMWA’s new Assigned-Day schedule is as follows: homes or businesses with addresses ending in an even number can water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Addresses ending in an odd number, can water on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Monday is still a no-watering day, a day of rest for our water system. Please remember there is no watering during the hottest part of the day, between noon and 6 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The free workshop will take place at TMWA’s main office at 1355 Capital Blvd. in Reno. Please call (775) 834-8005 or e-mail conservation@tmwa.net to register for the last workshop on Wednesday, June 23 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
