Learn About Truckee River Flow Rates at Truckee Meadows Water Authority’s Website

(RENO, Nev.) – As temperatures rise and snowpack melts, Truckee River flows are increasing. Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) encourages Truckee River users to visit www.tmwastorage.com to see current flow rates before heading out to the water for rafting, kayaking, inner tubing, swimming, fishing, or wading.

Another TMWA resource is the Truckee River Recreation map which can be downloaded at www.tmh2o.com/rivermap. Learn where access points are along the river and other points of interest.

Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is a not-for-profit water utility, overseen by elected officials from Reno, Sparks and Washoe County. TMWA employs a highly skilled team who ensure the treatment, delivery and availability of high-quality drinking water around the clock for more than 330,000 residents of the Truckee Meadows.
